Seek out and assess pilot proposals, scripts, and pitches. Recruit new creative talent. Work with writers to develop story and scripts.
Identify and proactively source commercial film & TV projects in the genre space including realistic paths to production at a contained budget level via meetings with writers, directors, agents, producers and wider entertainment industry network.
Administrative duties to include, but not limited to scheduling meetings and maintaining extensive calendars, processing expense reports, coordinating business travel, and managing other day-to-day administrative tasks as needed.
Manage and evaluate incoming submissions of written and visual materials and keep an accurate account of all materials that are submitted. Provide other administrative support for the team as needed.
Source and develop materials to sell original concepts to prospective buyers and oversee those projects creatively from development to delivery. Hire and work closely with writers to develop stories from a concept to a full production draft, providing notes to ensure the script is meeting creative standards and is shootable within budget.
Assist with daily production activities and workflows. Prepare, organize, and maintain production materials and equipment. Support production staff and team members as needed.
Serve as first point of contact with clients, Agents and Executives. Provide significant script coverage for client pitches. Track current and potential clients.
Managing travel and accommodation arrangements, handling production accounts and expenses, maintaining schedules, and assisting with the daily operations of both shows.
Track and read submissions and writing samples and offer written thoughts/coverage in a timely manner. Offer critical feedback on creative submissions. Support and track ongoing efforts to search for fresh comedic and artistic voices.
