Booking travel and supporting the team with contributor and crew travel itineraries for a new series. Raising purchase orders, dealing with expenses, reconciling credit cards and keeping production manager and finance colleagues informed as appropriate.
Supporting the production management team with the day-to-day operational tasks and logistics across the series, and acting as a central point of contact for all crew and production team travel.
Work closely with our experienced creators, showrunners, story editors, and staff writers, with exposure to story and character development, structure, and theme while building new tools essential for excelling in a professional writer’s room.
Serve as a cross-functional strategic partner, building strong working relationships across teams including creative development, physical production, business affairs, finance, programming, marketing, and PR.
Provide critical executive oversight and final approval on all budgets, applying an expert-level understanding of script breakdown, market rates, and financial structuring to ensure fiscal integrity from development to delivery.
Distribute script materials and internal project trackers. Provide detailed coverage of incoming script and project submissions as needed Exercise discretion with sensitive or confidential information.
Support the execution of current programming for FOX Entertainment Studios’ scripted slate, including series produced for the FOX network and third-party buyers (e.g., streamers, cable networks).
Manage the executive’s calendar, including scheduling and confirming meetings internally and externally. Develop and maintain familiarity with all ongoing projects within the company. Liaise with executives, talent, and other assistants.
Track budgets, payments and other financial transactions as needed. Track represented materials, clients, and potential clients. Assist with project management, research, and compiling information and materials as needed.
