Browsing: Internship

Reading and analyzing incoming material and new drafts for projects currently in development. Scheduling meetings with key players in the industry. Updating grids and status reports.

Attendance at sound recording and editing sessions. Preparing minutes for script read-through meetings. Gaining hands-on experience in the anime production process.

Providing feedback on incoming materials. Creating internal resources on filmmakers. Learning to support executives, including phone feedback.

Maintaining department organization and anticipating its needs. Observing and engaging with both Current execs and other SPT execs to learn and understand how a studio runs.

Support different production phases such as Development, Production, and Post Production. Help organize and attend both internal studio meetings and those related to productions. Manage and monitor Below the Line contracts.

Supporting the department with administrative duties. Providing script and book coverage. Conducting research projects. Cutting incoming pilot/series dailies.

Firsthand exposure to the creative development process in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Research various topics and update current reports using Microsoft Suite. Look at pitch material that has been submitted to see what types of shows are being pitched. View cuts of current shows we have in production before they go on air.

Reading incoming project submissions and providing feedback. Reading project drafts and providing feedback. Contributing to the brainstorming of lists of writers, directors and cast for various projects and checking their availabilities with agencies.

Reading scripts, writing coverage and engaging in/consuming and tracking various forms of media that could be of interest to the development teams, including but not limited to podcasts, television series, movies, novels, comic books, web series, social media personalities, documentaries, articles, etc.
