Handle day-to-day phone calls including rolling high volume calls with President, redirecting calls to appropriate departments and relaying timely messages. Extensive reading.

Support the Industry Manager in delivering the festival’s expanding year-round talent development programme of events, including development labs, mentorship activities and pitching events.

Manages complex meeting scheduling across many senior executive attendees. Works with other assistants to navigate and resolve potential scheduling conflicts. Agile to changes and makes all necessary parties aware of changes as soon as possible.

Reading new book projects and assessing film/tv/documentary/podcast/live stage play potential. Based on assessment of film/tv potential and authors’ ambitions, assisting executives in devising submission strategies for new book projects and executing those strategies.

Shape story structure, character arcs, and relationship dynamics to create compelling, character-led storytelling.
