The TV Development and Current Series Intern will shadow and be able to share their creative point of view on content with high-level executives on both sides of Development and Production.
Browsing: Production
Read incoming pitches, organize external story narration and internal pitch discussions and communicate interest or declines.
Collaborate with the production team during all phases of production, including pre-, and post-production, to ensure seamless project execution.
Support Head of US Scripted Series Post, Head of Production and all departmental-related and series-related projects, internal and external requests and team initiatives.
Serve as the first point of contact with clients, Agents and Network/Studio Executives. Track and meticulously maintain grids of data and execute excellent follow-up and follow through.
Collaborate with experienced creatives, gain hands-on exposure across the full production process, and take real ownership from day one.
Act as showrunner across assigned special projects, events, and productions, owning execution from concept through final delivery.
Identify properties as well as outside material to be adapted, developed, pitched and sold to television networks and streaming platforms. Finds writers for series development, series staffing and streaming development projects.
Accompany the leader in key internal and external meetings. Capture high-level notes, synthesize complex discussions into actionable outcomes, and ensure follow-up on strategic commitments.
Work closely with the production teams of each TV show and be a primary point of contact for production documents, schedules, budgets to distribute internally.
