Responsibilities range from standard assistant duties to project and client development.
Browsing: Development
Interface with creative executives, agents, producers, and talent on a regular basis and therefore professionalism and great customer service is needed. Tracking internal docs (i.e. status of pitches, what is being read by the team, what has been passed on, what the team is acquiring).
Support production and development processes along with editorial support, such as script analysis of submissions, research, pitch design, proofreading, and pink pages.
Provide administrative and personal support. Read creative materials and provide thoughtful feedback. Schedule meetings and manage the executive calendar.
Project analysis. Create lists of directors, writers, and actors for projects in development. When appropriate and asked for, provide verbal or written feedback on drafts or dailies for projects in production.
Read, evaluate, and provide thoughtful coverage and feedback on incoming screenplays and creative submissions, demonstrating strong story instincts and enthusiasm for the development process.
Delve into WEBTOON/Wattpad IP to support the WEBTOON Productions Live-Action Film Team by pinpointing IP ripe for adaptation; and help strategize the optimal approach. Collaborate with film team members to bring on the right creative partners and identify the best path to a sale.
Evaluate drafts of current projects and create reports for distribution. Write episodic summaries and create current season reports. Track submissions, manage delivery of incoming scripts and cuts, and track shooting schedules.
Responsibilities will include rolling calls, monitoring emails, scheduling, arranging travel, meals & gifts, and expenses.
Support and contribute to the development of multi-platform sales materials (including but not limited to: show sheets, idea libraries, show clips, network rollouts, etc.) for NBC Prime and associated platforms including digital, social, and Peacock.
