Your primary responsibility will be to perform administrative duties for the VP, Head of Content, Roku Media. The ideal candidate will become a valued member of the team, supporting the VP and her team. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to make contextually astute decisions is key. You need to be proactive and collaborative with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced media environment. This role requires adaptability, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and excellent multi-tasking. The successful candidate will possess a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing direct administrative support to the VP, Head of Content, Roku Media.
- Ensuring that company and team goals and objectives are accomplished, and that operations run efficiently.
- Balancing competing priorities from both external and internal stakeholders to ensure that the VP’s time is optimized with minimal input.
- Managing complex calendars, meeting logistics and preparation, document preparation, expense reporting, travel booking, and miscellaneous administrative functions as needed.
- Tracking, monitoring, and guiding progress of projects and action items to ensure they remain on course.
- Utilizing knowledge of the company’s business goals to effectively conduct research as needed for special projects.
- Handling sensitive situations with professionalism, confidentiality, and good judgment.
- Acting as a liaison for VP’s direct reports, cross-functional stakeholders, other company administrative staff, and other company executives as necessary.
- Manage scheduling and end-to-end logistics for high-visibility meetings and events (e.g., all-hands, town halls, leadership offsites); this may include calendar coordination, agenda preparation, speaker support, attendee communications, food & beverage, etc.
- Coordinating meetings with Roku content partners and other outside parties; this may include coordinating travel, greeting guests, managing meeting setup, food & beverage, etc.
- Organizing business meals and other events as necessary (e.g. reservations, travel, etc.).
- Ensuring meetings are effective by managing attendance, setup, minutes, and tracking actions.
We’re excited if you have:
- 2-5 years of experience working as an Executive Administrative Assistant; ideally in media, advertising, or technology-based companies.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects, track issues and follow-up independently.
- Ability to manage meetings and prepare presentations.
- High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A team player mentality while being adaptable and enjoying a challenge.
- Comfort working at all levels of the company across multiple locations.
- Curiosity, enthusiasm, and an interest in learning about the business of content and streaming.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
For California Only – The estimated annual salary for this position is between $105,000 – $135,000 annually.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
