Identify properties as well as outside material to be adapted, developed, pitched and sold to television networks and streaming platforms. Finds writers for series development, series staffing and streaming development projects.
Read and watch current material in a timely manner and provide feedback if necessary. Compose correspondence as needed; write synopsis and loglines of episodes for internal scheduling systems and weekly, widely-distributed report.
Act as the first point of contact for show production offices, coordinate meetings, manage executive travel, and produce essential documents such as hiring charts and production calendars.
Develop a deep understanding of ABC/Hulu’s brand values, key demo target/s, and business objectives to help determine what original series will move the needle for the brand and generate significant commercial value.
