This Spring Internship is from January 12, 19 or 26, 2026 through April 24th, 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week, in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
The Global Development & Programming department works as the bridge between Sony’s domestic and international TV arms, assisting in developing and selling upcoming global television shows produced by the studios while also maintaining an internal slate.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting department with day-to-day functions and material organization – updating and creating grids, note taking on calls and meetings, scheduling meetings with key partners and producers, etc.
- Reading and providing feedback on incoming and existing material.
- Sitting in on meetings and discussions about projects.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
- Passion for television and development for scripted programming on a global scale.
- Interest in the entertainment industry both domestically and internationally. Bonus points if familiar with international content.
- Good eye for creative storytelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour.
