This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in content acquisitions within a fast-paced, collaborative media environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Sourcing and evaluating content opportunities across film, kids, scripted, and non-scripted genres
  • Supporting licensing, pre-buy, and partnership negotiations with studios, distributors, and content owners
  • Contributing to partnership discussions and collaborative opportunities with content partners
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging markets
  • Supporting co-production and pre-buy opportunities, particularly in series and children’s programming
  • Drafting deal memos and working closely with Legal & Business Affairs on contract terms
  • Tracking deal delivery, rights exploitation, and internal approvals
  • Maintaining accurate acquisition, contract, and rights records in internal systems
  • Building and maintaining relationships with international studios, distributors, and sales agents
  • Attending markets, festivals, and industry events to support business development
  • Working closely with Programming, Scheduling, Marketing, Streaming, Legal, Finance, and Press teams to maximise content across platforms
  • Supporting reports, presentations, and business cases for senior stakeholders
  • Assisting with pipeline planning and monitoring budgets for assigned projects

What We’re Looking For

Skills you’ll need (Minimum role criteria):

  • Experience in content acquisitions, distribution, or commissioning within a broadcaster, streaming platform, or distributor
  • Experience negotiating or supporting deals across TVOD and EST windows
  • Understanding of licensing, rights management, and deal structures
  • Experience supporting negotiations and working with external partners
  • Knowledge of linear and streaming content strategies
  • Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

  • Experience with co-productions or international content partnerships
  • Established relationships with studios, distributors, or content partners
