The assistant is willing to immerse themselves, potentially take on larger opportunities (i.e. pitching, submitting on breakdowns, script coverage), and clearly able to communicate with agents, executives, clients, peers etc.

Responsibilities include heavy phones, scheduling meetings, tracking expenses and bookings, reading scripts, and interfacing directly with clients and industry contacts.

Coordinating meetings and travel. Maintaining files and tracking documents. Taking notes and preparing materials.

Help research and fact check stories with speed and accuracy. Pitch smart and engaging stories for daily and future segments that will resonate with our audience.

Assisting with the evaluation of manuscripts and book proposals for all genres and producing concise reading reports. Liaising with authors, publishers, and colleagues; maintaining good relationships and open communication.

Locate video and soundbites and receive legal permission by coordinating with the desk and other departments. Edit video and soundbites for air. Assist producers in package-producing taped interviews and field pieces.

Research, build & share weekly newsletter recapping relevant client & industry news for talent-driven production companies. Support in building materials for client production companies (e.g., pitch decks, films slates, etc.).

Conceptualize and provide creative ideas for topics and content that can make air. Organize, log, and filter all media that comes through the building pertaining to our group’s needs. Handle any tasks that come up on a live gameday, which include working with talent on set, putting together highlights for air, or helping identify certain statistics or trends that could be noted on air.

Managing client appointments and scheduling. Coordinating travel and calendars for the manager and clients.

Rolling calls and handling high-volume correspondence. Day-to-day client management and communication.
