Oversee the creative development and production of multiple original series. Work closely with writers to guide story development, episode structure, tone, and revisions.
Actively seek out and identify potential new business through incoming pitches and available material for scripted, unscripted and feature projects, and with an eye to future staffing possibilities.
Identify and create unique original drama concepts and ideas. Research and develop new show ideas that originate from both internal sources and acquired pitches.
Support the development of multiple movies and series projects simultaneously, with primary focus on Italian-language originals. Collaborate closely with writers, show-runners, and production partners throughout the development process.
Duties include offering feedback on story and pitch presentations between major creative milestone meetings; conducting and coordinating inspirational research for the film world & characters.
Development and Current Series tracking for incoming deliverables, as well as providing notes on submitted pitches, treatments, and episodes.
Review incoming pitch materials, write detailed coverage, and provide creative recommendations to the development team to inform greenlight decisions.
The TV Development and Current Series Intern will shadow and be able to share their creative point of view on content with high-level executives on both sides of Development and Production.
The agent will be responsible for growing their own roster of top-level writers, scripted formats and development slate, whilst also identifying and nurturing scripted opportunities for existing InterTalent clients.
