Track submissions, maintain project logs, and update the development slate. Track competitive development at other studios and production companies. Track emerging material by spotting high-potential projects, monitor upcoming books, and matching directors or actors with scripts that fit their next move.
Reading incoming project submissions and providing feedback. Reading project drafts and providing feedback. Contributing to the brainstorming of lists of writers, directors and cast for various projects and checking their availabilities with agencies.
Support production and development processes along with editorial support, such as script analysis of submissions and IP, research, pitch design and proofreading.
Manage submission logs and production slate grids. Maintain various files, records, indexes and phone logs. Format writer, director & actor lists for projects based on supervisor’s discretion.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to Creative Development Executives, including complex calendaring, meeting coordination, call scheduling, and travel arrangements. Assist in the creative evaluation process by reviewing scripts, drafting coverage, and compiling feedback.
Responsibilities include administrative support with a strong emphasis on reading and evaluating scripts, tracking submissions, maintaining development materials, and supporting the day-to-day flow of projects.
