Production & Studio Executive, APAC for The Walt Disney Company (AU)

October 31, 2025

We’re looking for a Production & Studio Executive to be the heartbeat of our Creative & Production team across ANZ (Australia and New Zealand). You’ll work side-by-side with the Production Manager, keeping everything running smoothly—from crew onboarding and legal contracts to scheduling, invoicing, and traffic management. Partnering with our internal teams, you’ll help drive projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring every production and post-production moment is seamless, efficient, and just a little bit magical.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about all things production and brings hands-on experience from the world of television or media. You’re organised, detail oriented, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Personable and dependable, you know how to work independently while keeping the team connected. You’re a natural problem solver who loves turning creative ideas into reality—while keeping the process sharp, focused, and consistently on track.

Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Tracking and reporting on end-to-end delivery of media, ensuring all production milestones are met from inception through to delivery
  • Play an integral project management role during large integrated campaigns, tracking timing, briefs and budgets on all projects, including pre- and post-production and reporting
  • Planning and management of budgets ensuring quarterly targets are met
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, keeping teams informed, aligned, and confident through clear, timely communication at every stage of delivery
  • Oversight of freelance resources, crew engagement and negotiations for the department
  • Experience in legal oversight and contract management skills, ensuring all agreements are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business objectives

To be successful in this role, you will hold:

  • Prior experience in a Production Co-ordination or Production Executive roles
  • Basic knowledge of production equipment and postproduction processes
  • High level of numeracy and ability to create/track multiple budgets simultaneously – ability to work within budgetary and deadline constraints
  • Well-versed in managing competing deadlines with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills and ability to plan into the future
  • Experience using Monday.com or other project management software, Adobe suite, Google suite, and Microsoft suite
