CBS Studios is seeking an Executive Assistant to join the team! As an Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support to the EVP of Comedy Development by managing their schedules, coordinating meetings, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions. You will serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external partners and ensure efficient communication and smooth operations within the executive office and the Comedy Development department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- General administrative tasks including complex scheduling, screening phone calls and calendar management, updating development reports, scheduling pitch meetings, some expense processing and coordinating travel possible.
- Facilitate communication within the department and with other internal partners.
- Coordinate schedules with other assistants for meetings and calls with co-studios, networks, and producers.
- Take notes during calls and meetings as needed.
- Exercise discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Screening submissions.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of assistant experience within the entertainment industry
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to multitask and prioritize is essential.
- Be an organizational whiz and self-starter.
- Studio, network or agency experience a plus
- Interest in television, especially scripted comedy, a plus.
- Strong writing and editing skills a plus.
- Be efficient and professional, but also have a good rapport with co-workers, production staff, agents, managers, writers, performers and other creatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

The hiring salary range is $50,000 to $60,000/year.
