Serve as a cross-functional strategic partner, building strong working relationships across teams including creative development, physical production, business affairs, finance, programming, marketing, and PR.
Manage the executive’s calendar, including scheduling and confirming meetings internally and externally. Develop and maintain familiarity with all ongoing projects within the company. Liaise with executives, talent, and other assistants.
Seek out and assess pilot proposals, scripts, and pitches. Recruit new creative talent. Work with writers to develop story and scripts.
Identify and proactively source commercial film & TV projects in the genre space including realistic paths to production at a contained budget level via meetings with writers, directors, agents, producers and wider entertainment industry network.
Identify and originate partnerships with film studios, production companies, streamers, and talent-led production entities. Collaborate with Wonder’s creative and production teams to package projects for partners.
Read, evaluate, and provide thoughtful coverage and feedback on incoming screenplays and creative submissions, demonstrating strong story instincts and enthusiasm for the development process. Track script & material submissions and maintain internal documentation.
Manage the calendars of the EVP, Film Production and SVP, Film Post Production. Organize ad hoc and weekly meetings for Production/Creative/BA/Finance on all film productions. Manage the phone sheet and monitor calls for the EVP, Film Production.
Organizing and maintaining documents, including scripts, call sheets, and related materials. Providing day-to-day administrative and operational support.
