What You’ll Do:

- Collaborate with CandyJarTV writers to insert viral shareable moments into scripts (anchor scenes, quotable lines, meme worthy beats).
- Attend shoots regularly in Los Angeles to film and capture behind the scenes and scripted social moments with CandyJarTV actors!
- Edit, package, and post content in TikTok styles (fast cuts, overlays, trending audio).
- Partner with marketing and editorial to ensure clips drive both in app bingeing and cultural conversation on socials.
- Stay ahead of TikTok trends, memes, and editing formats
- Proactively pitch new scene ideas that could go viral!
What You’ll Bring:

- 3+ years of experience.
- Skilled in video editing (CapCut, TikTok, Reels, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.)
- Comfortable being camera facing and creating on screen content.
- Detail oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Familiar with AI tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong grasp of social media KPIs and analytics; able to translate insights into actions.
- Experience in scriptwriting, screenwriting, or narrative content creation (ideally with comedy, romance, or drama).
- Proven track record producing for TikTok, Reels, or other short form video platforms (bonus if you’ve worked on scripted digital shows).
- Strong instinct for viral storytelling and pop culture trends.
- Comfortable working on set! Directing actors for socials capturing candid and scripted content.
- Based in or near Los Angeles with flexibility to attend regular shoots.

The salary range is $90,000 – $130,000 a year.
