Rockstar is looking for a temporary Script Coordinator to support the Writing and Dialogue Production teams. The successful candidate will be diligent, meticulously organized, and excited to work closely with writers, audio capture, and voiceover talent across all Rockstar’s projects.
This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
What We Do:
- The Rockstar Games Writing team helps to produce and track hundreds of thousands of lines of dialogue across multiple projects.
- We support a global, creative team in developing narratives, characters, dialogue, in-game media, world building interactions, and world-building discoveries.
- We help to ensure that dialogue is written and recorded in accordance with project timelines and that dialogue and related animations are implemented and tested to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for the Writing team, within the scope of in-game dialogue, working in partnership with Design, Performance Production, and additional internal teams.
- Review and proofread scripts with a critical eye before they are sent for recording, following the production recording schedule.
- Evaluate scripts to break down character dialogue requirements and prepare for recording.
- Maintain a substantial number of scripts as well as accurate trackers and documentation for scripts and characters.
- Collaborate with leads and producers in developing and maintaining writing pipelines.
- Be responsive to any changes and feedback post-delivery and prioritize any follow-up tasks.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a script coordinator for games or film/TV.
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work fast while still being ultraprecise and rigorous about quality control.
- Ability to adjust and respond to rapidly shifting priorities in a milestone-based production environment.
