Our Film & TV team is the UK’s leading legal film and television practice, representing US studios, SVOD platforms, leading independent production companies, as well as broadcasters, financiers and distributors.
This vacancy is for a junior associate. Joining as one of the junior level lawyers in the team, you can expect a broad mix of work including advising on all matters relating to the development, financing, production and exploitation of films and television programmes. The role will involve working with some of the worlds’ leading film and television companies and you will develop specialist expertise, industry knowledge, client relationships, contribute to business development and support the continued growth of the practice.
About you:
You will be a highly talented and capable UK qualified solicitor or equivalent, looking for a junior level role in film and TV work in which to enhance and develop your career. You are likely already to have solid relevant sector experience .
Your academic achievements and career path will show that you have the potential to operate at the highest level. You will have a strong academic record and your training (and any post qualification experience) is likely to have been gained at a presitgious law firm or leading specialist practice.
Your personal qualities will include exceptional analytical, reasoning and drafting skills and youwill be able to demonstrate a high level initiative and proactivity. Above all, your enthusiasm, interpersonal skills and commitment will be manifest in your dedication to delivering exceptional client service and working collaboratively within the team.
