Produce in-studio segments and book high-profile guests, overseeing a segment from a pitch to live on air. Conduct pre-interviews and in-depth research on a wide range of topics. Write compelling and catchy scripts for air.
Create guest itineraries, coordinate travel, arrival, and parking details, and answer any questions from time of booking until post-show. Greet guests on show days, act as point of contact for any questions, and ensure they get to and from wardrobe, stage, etc.
Duties include basic assistance with day-to-day tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of projects. Collaborating with hosts, producers, directors, and the production team. The role varies from project to project, including but not limited to logistics, research, asset gathering, and production support, for in-studio and field shoots.
Strong interest in political reporting and election coverage and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
Responsible for pitching stories, writing compelling scripts for multiple segments, and selecting/building elements in a collaborative team environment. Well-versed in business news, politics, and current events – and innately curious about everything else.
Responsible for producing and editing revenue-generating, feature content for all of CNN’s platforms – from pitch to publish. They will be short-form multi-platform storytellers who strive to innovate and experiment with new technologies.
