Spec Going to Market?

If you are an established representative (agent and/or manager) who is taking out their client’s spec script, we can help promote the material to our community of industry professionals for free, of course. Or if you are an Assistant or Development Executive who would like to contribute to our tracking in general, please feel free to share any specs you know about which are out on the town.

We only list spec scripts being actively shopped by industry recognized agencies and/or management firms. Our spec script listings are not for writers to simply list their available spec scripts in hopes of getting optioned or sold. The one exception is if you are a writer and you know your rep is taking out your film or TV spec script, then you are welcome to submit a listing along with their info.)

Spec Submission Tips:

Include all the info you can and be as specific as possible.
Please use your company email address as we may need to follow up with questions.
For the Representation fields, if there is more than one writer, please include each writer’s last name in parentheses after their agent or manager’s name they are repped by.
The Attachments field is for listing any directors, actors, producers, etc. who are attached to the project being shopped.
The Details field is for any extra pertinent info about the project: type (live-action, animation, hybrid) and/or to note if it is based on a novel/non-fiction book, a comic book, it’s a remake or reboot of a film or TV show and so on.
The Announcement field should be: “Name of your agency or management firm” is taking out this “Title” of spec script.
